Get Ready for our school!

 

 Zespół Szkół nr 1 is a compound of junior high school and elementary school.  It is also one of four junior highs and elementary schools that serve Brzeg Area School District.  The majority of our student population (approximately 800 students) come from Brzeg and its surroundings.  

 

School Hours:

School begins: 8:00am

School ends: 3:20pm

 

Building Security

In order to ensure the safety of all school students and staff, the school is under guidance of the security agency, there is also an online viewing of the interiors and the school area.

 

Sport

 

Zespół Szkół nr 1 with Sport Departments offers various sports for all students.  Approximately 75% of our students participate in sports each year and many are multiple sport athletes.

Leading disciplines are softball and football.

We have lots of great clubs and activities for students to be involved!.  They are available for students of all grades of elementary and junior high school .   Below is a list of the group/club name.

COMENIUS

 

The school staff and students are very excited and proud about several new initiatives.  One of these is Comenius programme- multilateral partnership that involves a few schools from different European countries.

Our school has already been involved in two Comenius programmes.

1. Living in peace and harmony with nature leads to better life understanding (Lithuania, Spain, Italy)

2.Memory is good not only for our recolletion ,but also for our memory (Germany, Cyprus, Lithuania, France)

 Both focused on themes linked to pupils` interests and curiculum.  In addition to learning more about other countries and cultures, teachers and students gain an insight into other types of teaching methods and school practicies.

Our school has applied for the programme once more and we are awaiting impatiently for the results. We hope to be accepted!!! The topic we`ve chosen is the following:

Books are a treasured wealth and a fit inheritance of the world and nations
